I've known Janet for years. Generally speaking, she's not naturally stupid. She has to make an effort. Her motives come more from ambition than ideological conviction. I'm pretty sure she hopes to run for governor when LePage leaves. She understands that the nomination has become unattainable without MPA support. She may choose to pirouette around the wind mills, but no Democrat can escape the Global Warming Crowd.

The hypocrisy is beyond embarrassing. To place tobacco in the same category as fossil fuels is downright bizarre. Remove all fossil fuels from our current society, every last drop, and what would remain? Do they even think about such things in their political witch hunt? Remember the line, "The future is in plastics"?
