I am certain the same rationale that Angus king uses will be used to forgive the use of coal By Bangladesh " you industrialized nations have been polluting the world for years so why not us". Angus king's staff response related to PTC's for wind and solar is " We've been giving tax credits for ethanol production for years so why not wind and solar?" Two wrongs make a right?

Yes, endless articles in BDN about Maine being the "oldest state in the nation". One day an article about how there aren't enough jobs to employ all the Mainers, and the next day an article about how there aren't enough Mainers to fill all the jobs. Without the work force paying taxes to support the political infrastructure and all their mysterious agendas, what would happen to the planet? Birth control is a touchy subject, eh?

For some strange reasons population control has disappeared from the national and global conversation , while it was a popular subject in the sixties and seventies.

Now instead of promoting population control which has a logic goal ( the earth has finite resources )the entrepreneurs have realized that an endless supply of humans means an endless supply of consumers of everything from tooth paste to wind turbines !

Nobody talks about subjects like birth control. Nobody dares. Nothing we do will ever amount to a piss hole in the snow unless we talk about human population and the demands it places on this planet. 7 billion and growing fast. Stand in one of the biggest cities, look around you, and imagine that wind turbines are powering it. If you can picture that, you really need to get a grip on reality.
