Robert Goldman...nice post. I am wondering how all this will affect the Renewable Energy Credits. At one time Mass. was our biggest trader.

But, First Wind did say a few years ago in their SEC report that lack of transmission was a good thing.

Very confusing. So much so the average person cannot easily understand. Don't think it is an accident. The RECs may be something to watch by those much smarter than me.

Those determined folks in Massachusetts who fought this awful monster project for so long deserve the highest praise. Sen. Ted Kennedy strongly opposed Cape Wind from the start. It is a pleasure to give the wind moonies of the Conservation Law Foundation and the confused Sierra Club and the other destructive, ideologically corrupted 'environmental' groups a huge middle finger. Mainers should stop bashing Massachusetts and realize there are tons of honest, good people in the state where the…

Mainers should stop bashing Massachusetts and realize there are tons of honest, good people in the state where the American Revolution began. I'm proud to be a Massachusetts native. Most of all, it is sweet to think of the millions of birds and all the innocent ocean beings that will be left to live in peace.
With Cape Wind now a defunct project, there is little doubt that hydroelectricity will be required as the renewable source of energy needed to make good on the carbon-free energy laws of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Wind converted energy simply will not keep up with the annually expanding renewable portfolio targets

Such wonderful news. Thank you for posting. May Maine soon go the way of Mass. and stop the madness. It is the banks. No more financing. WE are 18 trillion dollars in debt as a country. Time to let the criminals go back to their other forms of racketeering.
