Governor LaPage is finally activating on the horrendous industrial wind, but let's not be seduced into thinking natural gas is any better than wind. Yes it won't level mountaintops as monstrous wind turbines do, but can be just as devastating to scenery and more importantly toxic to ourselves, our water resources, wells, wildlife, and air quality. Proactive against industrial wind in favor of natural gas 'infrastructure' could be opening the way for ''fracking''. Just take a moment and see what has happened to Pennsylvania's mountains, countryside and farmlands. There is vigilance to be waged against freely fracking in Maine. Wherever there is lakes and ponds, there is natural gas dwelling beneath. Well, one could skip a stone from one body of water to another in Maine for decades. Not to mention the aquaphors to be poisoned by fracking chemicals.
