Indeed, the PUC hearings are largely made up of paid reciters of the corporate line. That said, it is clear that there are many at war against the transmission upgrade and reading the transcripts reveals that many transmission upgrade opponents have not yet made the connection between the upgrade and the wind complexes. It is important that the two groups find each other and realize the similarity between our fights:

    - a state government that is putting corporate interests above our welfare

    - projects being jammed down our throats under false pretenses

    - unnecessary projects

    - scarring the landscape

    - posing health risks

    - feeding off the taxpayer or ratepayer - driving up the cost of living

    - economically foolish

    Art,
Could you please add a URL to the news article you posted - "More Sustainable Renewable Power for ME". Right now when I click on it I get a non-page.

    Thanks.

In response to your questioning who may have a copy of what I referenced - what would you like a copy of? I have copies of almost all documents pertaining to this project, including the draft Permit, initial application, and much more.

As to the "ordinance" passed by the town of Oakfield, well, I have my own feelings as to how stringent it is.

I posted a couple of files on the documents page that you may be interested in. Let me know if you would like anything more.

Awesome. Very helpful. I suppose I could have dug those out with some research. Thank you! Now please do share your feelings (or analysis )of how stringent it is.
