We thought at the end of March that we would be OK. There was a vote in March not to qualify Eolian for the MPCU pilot program. They have to prove community support to get it. We recently found out they have still been meeting with the town planning board, even offered to address our concerns by writing their own regulations!!!! A real fox in the hen house situation here. Tonight we will find out if our petition for a moratorium really gets rejected like the selectors have threatened. We have to really step things up.
That bill would be HUGE! I am sorry I cannot leave work today/tomorrow but I have been writing to everyone I can think of and keeping my fingers crossed for a big citizen turn out! Thank you for going.
I've lost count of the nights I've spent atop Bigelow. I have grave concerns about the inevitability of forest fires due to exploding turbines on remote forest mountain tops.
