Three of the five Democrats running for governor have formed an alliance, of sorts, headed into next month's ranked-choice primary elections.

The three candidates — Shenna Bellows, Troy Jackson and Hannah Pingree — announced on Friday that they would rank each other at the top of their ballots during the June 9 primary. And they urged their supporters to do the same.
