The guest presenter is Captain Tyler Macallister, a commercial and charter fisherman who has fished for groundfish, striped bass, and bluefin tuna in New England waters for 41 years.

Captain Macallister is currently working with the Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute and the MA Division of Marine Fisheries on an ongoing eDNA project, collecting data on the types of marine species and their population levels in and around the offshore wind development areas for several years. He has spent thousands of hours over the past several years at offshore wind development sites, researching and documenting the effects of various stages of construction and now operation on marine species.
