In the declaration filed by SouthCoast Wind, it warns that they will not be able to reach a Power Purchase Agreement with Massachusetts by Monday, June 30, 2025, due to the Trump executive order and may have to wait two years.

The bottom line here is SouthCoast Wind hasn't been able to reach a Power Purchase Agreement since 2022. President Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2025, only a few months ago.SouthCoast has two choices for June 30, 2025. Extend the Massachusetts Power Purchase Agreements down the road another three months, as they have been doing for years, or cancel the contracts for two years, as stated in the federal declaration.
