A Rude Awakening!
Email I received about the video(Rated R)

Eric, I want to deeply thank you for this great work. I love it because you did it and the music.

Cover your ears folks!!!

Really I got through half of this video when I had gone through the feeling of wanting to vomit and reached a place of anger so big I wanted to destroy these things and the people who bank rolled them, made them and earn their living from such destruction of the only earth we have. The massive destruction of so many acres of rich bio-diversity just for profit and so people can watch TV and play on their fucking iphones. Go ahead and call yourself GREEN ENVIRONMENTALISTS. I'll call the supporters of this shit for brains.

Take a moment to think of the Co2 (carbon) footprint to get this to this point. They built roads and dug deep mines for iron, copper and rare earth metals to build these and I am certain some of the labor in the mining destruction was children and slaves. How much Co2 was produced in the smelting and casting of these metal tubes? Of course, smelting of metals is the burning of coal so add that in. They come in to Searsport so probably come from China half the world away. Was it shipped by sail boat no by diesel. Chainsaws and skidders, bulldozers and excavators for land clearing and road building spewing Co2, nitrates and carbon soot.

14 scientists just stated that the tropics will become unlivable by 2020. So mass human extinction, in my opinion already underway, will start in 4 years. Kiss your babies goodbye. The Co2 debt for these towers will not be paid before we die and have no use for them. The destruction of the bio-diversity destroyed in this project will take thousands of years to recover. The arrogance and myth of human supremacy that allows thinking that would produce this project is sick and debased, ignorant. We found ourselves on a unique and beautiful planet and destroyed it. Do not worry we are smart enough to create the technology to fix it yet it was our arrogance in creating technological stuff that destroyed it.

Thank you Eric for a panoramic display of the destruction of the earth that we should have learned to live in sustainable communities with and protect the diversity. We failed from the get go to see and understand and stop the dangers of biting the hand that feeds us. Here for all to see is our great creation. An extremely fine bat and bird killing machine. You do not have to go anywhere but here to identify all the dead species. Watch this video and pay attention to Eric's pictures of the clear cuts, roads and platform sites. This is only the beginning of the industrialization of middle and northern Maine.

By the way, I have family, at least we share DNA, that are fish in this area. They are no fun to be around because all they do is bitch about not being able, for decades, to get up stream and visit the in laws. So could someone remove that dam on some remote pond that profits few and harms many? I'll help.

When do we stand up for our mother earth? Who are the warriors that can be effective? Maybe there are none. The MEPCO line is taking property now. Where is the out cry from these towns. The red neck Mainer is a pussy? Just can't seem to figure it out or just can not seem to get it up? Even the out of staters with their fancy educations can't get out of their educational environment into the real world and do stuff. On the 6 o'clock news Obama has come out of a meeting with Diebold and Killary will be our next president. More at 11:00.

So WTF? Are we waiting for someone else to do it? How many have to tell us we are seriously fucking things up before we hear that. Oh well life goes on. No it may well NOT.

Thank you Eric for doing. Acting. Producing a historical record of man's ignorance and destruction.

This will be a Bald Eagle and raptor slaughtering project. Hopefully the day will come when the  citizens of Maine will tear every one of these disgusting turbines down.

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
