In the same rigging manner as Green energy, if I could, I would vote for Brad 1000 times.

Sorry Brad, It was not clearly readable here in the post as I copied it.

The press release was already posted which read clearly and seemed identical.

Though some do not have Facebook, this is the missing view if this link works.

Brad Blake to Run for District 28 House Seat

Brad Blake of 3 Hearn Road declares his candidacy for the Maine House of Representatives District 28 representing part of Scarborough. The seat is currently held by Rep. Heather Sirocki, who cannot run again due to term limits. Blake is running as a Republican.

I am excited by the prospect of meeting Scarborough neighbors and I will be honored to represent them in a thoughtful and effective way in Augusta.”

Brad Blake, 68, is a widower who has an adult daughter living in Virginia. He retired from Unum in 2017 after a varied career which included 15 years in Public Management. A seventh generation Mainer who is a native of Lincoln, Blake has lived in various parts of Maine and is a University of Maine graduate.

My public administration background prepares me to understand government programs and provides me with valuable budget expertise I can use in the Legislature. It is a daunting task to determine how best to expend the state's limited tax revenues but I welcome the challenge.”

While always putting the best interests of Scarborough first, Blake believes it is important to understand the entire state. “All Legislators need to embrace the uniqueness of different parts of Maine, to recognize the barriers to better economic prosperity in other regions, and to create a business environment so all of the state prospers, not just Cumberland and York Counties. I believe my life experiences throughout the state will facilitate that process”

Brad Blake is a passionate outdoorsman who has been a citizen active in energy issues for ten years. He is a founder and former chair of the Citizens Task Force on Wind Power. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Friends of Maine's Mountains. Locally, he is a member of the Scarborough Historical Society. You may contact Brad Blake at BlakeforHouse@gmail.com .

Dear Face Book Friends, I am pleased to formally announce that I am a candidate for Maine House of Representatives District 28 seat, representing part of Scarborough, in this years election. The seat is held by my friend and neighbor Rep. Heather Sirocki, who cannot run again due to term limits. The open seat creates an exciting opportunity for me to formally participate in Maine government.
The Press Release for announcing my candidacy and the photo sent with it to the media are included here. I am currently working on a BlakeforHouse Face Book page. Please share this news widely, as I am building a large base of support. Thank You!

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
