LePage has been consistent in his remarks concerning wind development in the Rangeley area and the Moosehead region. But with the current wind law, there's not much he can do. His words are comforting, but his actions to alter/repeal the current wind law have been disappointing. The fight to save these assets is being waged by dedicated citizens in the communities that will be destroyed if development continues. There are bills be developed in Augusta that may bring some relief, but getting them passed is a tall order with the D's blocking any move to restrain development.
