Who Is Paying Off The BDN? Earth Day Editorial

What enviro group is paying off the BDN for publishing such unbelievable drivel? Possibly the Putin driven donations to the leftists and environmental groups like The Audubon Society and The Sierra Club? Yes folks, these groups have been sold out to not protecting the environment and the beautiful birds they were organized to do, but have taken on causes that are extremely UN-American and even Communist in their leaning. One of the beliefs all these organizations have in common is a belief that in order to save the world, we have to destroy all traces of modern science and advocate for eugenics in order to depopulate the world, especially in underdeveloped nations. Eugenicists like Margaret Sanger, the mother of Planned Parenthood, and Earth Day Speaker Paul Erlich, along with the founder of the environmental movement Rachel Carson (Silent Spring) have done more to eliminate population in the world than any effects of "climate change". Mosquitoes were almost eliminated in the 50's and 60's but have now killed more people worldwide than all diseases combined.

It is time we start eradicating the socialist mindset that has taken over our country. The BDN is only one of the propaganda spreading mediums spreading this nonsense. It comes from most of the TV media, the schools, (especially the Universities), and leftist politicos that are not in the least scientifically motivated. They are motivated by the almighty dollar put in their pockets by scamming lobbyists motivated by government subsidy payouts. (Our tax dollars) Isn't it funny how many congressmen and women join the government with little or nothing, and leave years later with MILLIONS of dollars?

Donald Trump and Scott Pruitt are not doing this to support "environment killing Big Business", rather to help every single American make their life better. Do any of you actually believe Obama's Czars (note the tie with the communists) did anything to stop pollution or do anything to stop climate change? Wind turbines and solar panels have not put a dent in our CO2 output. What has? The use of Natural Gas we are burning for electric power. Our ill guided elimination of coal and oil to make electricity came back to bite us this winter when we had to use coal, fuel oil and Natural gas from RUSSIA to keep the lights on in Mass, RI and Conn. I have solar on my camp, and I didn't take subsidies to build it and I am NOT hooked up to the grid. It was a choice I made and didn't ask my neighbors to pay for it.

It's time we take responsibility for our own life and not expect the government to do everything for us. They have screwed up almost everything they touch. It's time we let the market decide what is right and wrong. The BDN is still shilling for big government and DJT is advocating for the little guy.

PS   I posted the above comment, but it obviously got deleted. What I just said above is absolutely the truth, what the BDN writer is pure BS!

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/

Sign up today and lend your voice and presence to the steadily rising tide that will soon sweep the scourge of useless and wretched turbines from our beloved Maine countryside. For many of us, our little pieces of paradise have been hard won. Did the carpetbaggers think they could simply steal them from us?

We have the facts on our side. We have the truth on our side. All we need now is YOU.
