Trump’s National Security Strategy Suggests Climate Change Lobby Is a Threat

Fulfilling yet another campaign promise, the Trump administration has eliminated “climate change” from its list of national security threats, preferring instead to “embrace energy dominance.”

Trump Administration Removes ‘Climate Change’ from List of National Security Threats

In his Rose Garden speech in which he announced the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris climate accord, President Trump made clear that he believed that the agreement disadvantaged the United States to the exclusive benefit of other countries, leaving American workers and taxpayers to “absorb the cost in terms of lost jobs, lower wages, shuttered factories, and vastly diminished economic production.”

This agreement, Trump said, “is less about the climate and more about other countries gaining a financial advantage over the United States.”

Trump’s National Security Strategy Suggests Climate Change Lobby Is a Threat

The mainstream media reported Sunday and Monday that President Donald Trump’s new National Security Strategy (NSS) would remove climate change from a list of threats to national security. But the document, released Monday, does more than that. It identifies efforts to push a climate change agenda as a potential threat to national security.

Willy's comment about the Lefts decimation of the economy is something I have been saying for years. It is positively the plan. The last president, BHO was trained in the classrooms of Columbia University and was a proponent of Cloward and Piven, as was Hillary. They were both proponents of Saul Alinsky also and his book "Rules For Radicals". With the help of a corrupt socialist Democrat Party they almost pulled off a total destruction of our economy, and did leave us with $20 TRILLION in debt. A new strong economy, with growth in the 5-9% range could just wipe that out if we could get education systems out of the hands of the socialist, communist hands of the Teacher's Union and corrupt communist professors at the university.

Yes...the education system is part of the social engineering strategy....why we home schooled my daughter...who is now a strong practical conservative patriot....

By the way...Whetstone willy its right on the money....exactly how it planned by the social engineering crowd...using climate and many other issues....

I agree with the Trump staff.  ALL climate change programs, studies, treaties, etc are designed to redistribute wealth and transfer power to "others"....I know, because in my former life...I was part of it.

When I came to know the truth and realized what was going on...I was labeled "traitor"...

All of the climate change and "green energy" activities, etc are very carefully orchestrated to discredit anyone who challenges their validity....

I believe directing extraordinary money to battle "climate change" is part of the plan to make America Marxist.

At Columbia University, sociologist professors Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven introduced a political strategy in 1966 in an article entitled 'The Weight Of The Poor: A Strategy To End Poverty'. This article outlined a plan that they believed would eventually lead to the total transmutation of America into a full-fledged centralized welfare state (in other words, a collectivist enclave). The spearpoint of the Cloward-Piven strategy involved nothing less than economic sabotage against the U.S.

Theoretically, according to the doctrine, a condition of overwhelming tension and strain could be engineered through the overloading of American welfare rolls, thereby smothering the entitlement program structure at the state and local level. The implosion of welfare benefits would facilitate a massive spike in poverty and desperation, creating a financial crisis that would lead to an even greater cycle of demand for a fully socialized system. This desperation would then “force” the federal government to concentrate all welfare programs under one roof, nationalize and enforce a socialist ideology, and ultimately, compact an immense level of power into the hands of a select few.

This is from a few years back:

Heavy handed climate change regulation should lead to a sharp reduction of our economic output by 2050. Never mind that the scientific evidence for man-made climate change is highly politicized and controversial at best and a fraud at worst, as the "climategate" scandal has demonstrated. Moreover, no serious alternative sources of energy can be approved by the Democrat controlled congress. Solar and wind energy will not power our economy, although hot air does power Congress. Capping carbon dioxide emissions and causing energy deprivation will severely damage our economy and may very well wreck this country’s economy. Socialist governments desperately want global warming since it gives them an excuse to micromanage and eventually take over virtually all industries while justifying a huge tax increase. Corrupt climate scientists are being paid by these governments to produce the desired scientific outcomes and to suppress any skeptics. And some industries stand to make money off of government mandates, while some individuals, such as Al Gore, make millions off of carbon exchanges.
Is there a deliberate plot afoot to destroy capitalist America as prelude to a Marxist takeover? Consider the evidence.

Unfortunately, It states that Climate change is a threat to the national economy. But in a round-about-way the national economy is a threat to national security. - DOUBLE TALK - ?

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
