Jim, Wiegand - I agree that giving the appearance a project is dead or being fixed is a ploy. We've seen it for a number of years from the Maine legislature's Energy, Utilities and Technology committee. When 12 bills were brought to them by citizens, their Chair Stacey Fitts called for a study - this after years of citizen complaints. The study was done and indicated huge changes in the law were in order. But later EUT Committees first never looked at the study and then eventually just blew…

We've seen it for a number of years from the Maine legislature's Energy, Utilities and Technology committee. When 12 bills were brought to them by citizens, their Chair Stacey Fitts called for a study - this after years of citizen complaints. The study was done and indicated huge changes in the law were in order. But later EUT Committees first never looked at the study and then eventually just blew us off. And all the while, the EUT Chair Stacey Fitts was in the employ of Kleinschmidt Associates, a wind industry/ renewable energy company that boasted on its website that one of its engineers in Maine was busy at work making the wind laws.

In other words, they'd tell us they were working on our issues when in fact they were working against the citizenry. I wonder what percentage of our lawmakers is being bribed.

Anyone who is truly serious about global warming has to look at this from a scientific angle and see that until some sort of storage is devised, solar and wind aren't going to solve any of our energy problems. We're just throwing good money after bad. We need science based solutions. This renewables thing has become a histrionic religion. I'm for thorium and light water reactors. Then again, I wouldn't have much trouble adapting to an Amish lifestyle, so I can see both sides. I just…

We're just throwing good money after bad. We need science based solutions. This renewables thing has become a histrionic religion. I'm for thorium and light water reactors. Then again, I wouldn't have much trouble adapting to an Amish lifestyle, so I can see both sides. I just think most folks in most countries are going to want unlimited on-demand power. China's building more and more coal fired plants to meet their energy needs. We're putting up wind mills. Both are bad solutions.
I have news for you, this pro…tag:www.windtaskforce.org,2015-11-19:4401701:Comment:708202015-11-19T19:44:37.785ZJim Wiegandhttps://www.windtaskforce.org/profile/JimWiegand

I have news for you, this project is very much alive. To give the appearances of a problem being dead or taken care is a ploy I have witnessed over and over through the years. In doing so the opposition lets their guard down allowing the despicable bastards to do their dirty work.
