<p><span>Calpine will be back with more of the taxpayers subsidy money in an attempt to reverse their vote. Not enough graft money was offered to the town officials and vested interests to influence the vote it seems. Greenwood citizens should maintain their vigilance.</span></p>

<p>Town's zoning ordinances have proved invaluable in giving Mainers local control over this world wide scourge. LD 199 in 2009 would have given the state total authority over WT siting. Early resistance nipped it in the bud with a strong showing at the State House. The Natural Resource Committee heard the testimony and voted "ought not to pass".
