Most of Maine citizens can not afford to contribute, but even if we could, we would be a lesser lifeform to them, thus the greater influence comes from away.

I believe if you review in depth, Maine's Real Financial History with Massachusetts and the other 3 Southern New England States, we have always been treated as a Plantation State. A State where they reap the benefits of the Natural Resources sometimes by suppression of Value/Price Equality.br>
This time they wish to Rape what is left of our Resources (Tourism, Water, Mountains, and what little forest that remains) to the extent that they are willing to deprive Maine Citizens unless we succumb to their demands of more Wind, Solar, Transmission lines, and what they deem as Renewable Forest Energy Sourcing. Forest Product Sources that produce more, pound for pound, CO² than Coal.

What may remain after all Citizens are driven out, are the Elite taking over what little remains of unspoiled lands. Those lands that are not secretly holding 24 foot diameter subterrainian pillars of Concrete where Home foundations cannot be placed.

If memory serves, the great fire of 1825 from Bangor northward still has never fully recovered though some was converted to pasture lands, Barron lands of today due to Wind and Solar clearings and their remains, may never stand a chance at recovery.

We in Maine it seems are not worthy of a decent standard of living, just a few Nancy Pelosi "Crumbs" so that we survive long enough to become the next Servants to the Elitists.

Even Slaves are given just enough to stay alive, so long as they conform.
