So Mr. Means and others, support more deforestation of Maine for a Transmission line. Specifically Maine's Western Mountains. Environmentalists you are not. This electricity is NOT for Maine as by news articles it specifically states that it is for Southern New England. Heading to approximately Lewiston then south.

The Legislature and the PUC along with Maine citizens are being held hostage by the likes of ISO-NE, CMP, Emera Maine. Either give them what they want in transmission at the price they demand or suffer the consequences in other areas such as distribution as we saw this October past.

If this new Mega Transmission line is allowed to be permitted it will eventually be followed by a second and possibly third. Along with Wind Power from Canada it would justify more Mountain Top removal for future Wind Farm projects. Should Maine Rate Payers be assessed increases for something they are never to gain any benefit from, No. Will they, most likely. How would we know? There is no TRUE accounting.

Since it is for Canadian Profit and Southern New England's consumption, let them permit the Atlantic underwater project, at their expense outside of Maine's fishing/harvesting grounds . Leave Maine out of this. We Should Not become a Plantation state for Southern New England or others.
