Angus is more than a political independent. he stands alone as phenomenon outside of Nature as we know it---the only object known to science that has but a single dimension. He's a geometrical miracle, all surface and no depth. He's incapable of uttering anything but common-place ideas or sentiments. He serves up well-strained pablum tested to soothe the voters.  Apparently his principle work to "be moderate."

He explains that he is running again because “There is so much left to be done..." What work? His speech lays it out for us to admire.  He builds strong relationships on both sides of the aisle, encourages and nourishes tender shoots of bipartisan cooperation; tries to talk to people; maintains civil discourse; tries to solve problems, and tries to sort of calm some of the rhetoric.

What a guy!

Also described as "a smooth operator".   And lets not forget that by putting wind turbines on Maine's mountains we would be "bringing the boys back from Iraq" due to all that foreign oil that we don't use to make electricity being displaced by the bus bars on Angus' Record Hill turbines.  He had them eating out of his hand.

Angus "the opportunist"  -- the all hat and no cattle senator from the People's Republic of Brunswick! told us in his epic campaign book that salmon farming was the clipper ships of the 21st century - brilliant!!! Anguish and Susan "McCain" Collins are the personification of the word "pols".

Angus is committed to nothing but HIMSELF and his financial aggrandizement from government "service" or federal subsidy scamming.

How Maine does not see through this unctuous self serving plutocratic carpetbagger is a tribute to his sleaze factor acumen, nothing else.

My Father born 1920 died 2015 told me over and over that "Independent" was a ruse for non commitment to anything  and called Angus King  "independent----neither wheat nor chaff.

Nothing more needed to be known  about the opportunist who made his millions off taxpayer subsidized energy projects. the only people who understand this live and vote in the second district.

I may reprint my editorial "anyone but Angus"  Stay tuned.

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
