Others behind Wind and Solar

Shell is one of the few Big Oil majors that are placing their bets on green energy. Thanks to its merger with BG group, Shell is all set to become the most powerful and the biggest Liquefied Natural Gas producer in the world.

Oil if heated, with deep core geothermal would essentially cause it to vapor these gasses, providing a greener fossil fuel. The resulting liquids could later be distilled (though with much energy remaining) for other products. Unleaded Gasoline when pressurized was often used in a gaseous state as a replacement for Coleman fuel. 35¢ a gallon vs a Coleman can with the same, for $2+ per gallon. (when I was younger of course) How we convert energy to our needs is where the Green lays, other than the Fraudulent Green of $$$ acquisition.

I sadly have to laugh at your No-Walmart paragraph.

They not only crucify Mexicans, United Technologies, employees that work for a Mexican firm, later transferred temporarily to the U.S. as management supervisors in American factories were give housing allowances, while working for 80 Pesos an hour 4.734 US Dollar.

While the floor workers in Pittsfield Maine were making double the (management) supervisor's wage. She was a U.S. Citizen, but could not get U.S. Minimum Wage.

 Power of the Purse:

This extends to the concept of local currency, which by the way is NOT illegal so long as it is backed. Coin IS illegal, and is the only REAL money that we the people Own though manufactured by our government. Currency if you notice is a note of value from the Federal Reserve system of Banks. The Federal Reserve is not of the government, but just 12 Banks, A - L or 1-12. Use of these notes provides Legitimacy to these institution. Of which if they close the doors, would we be sufficiently funded with the only legitimate Money. Credit cards provide access to quicker indebtedness via easy access and delaying payments. Though I use Credit cards (3), I have only paid $15 in late fees over 40 years. While receiving cashback rewards in excess of $1000 (cash) to date.

While Rebranding with higher intentions or improved behavior toward the public should be allowed, their past should never be forgotten. Such is the case of Mutual of Omaha in my mind.

These parameters you speak of, should have been well investigated Prior to any advancements in any state based on independent data, not the NREL's use of industry data. And should have had a provision that demands removal should the data be faulty on any one parameter.

I.E. How does one do an actual Output verification of a turbine for commissioning, if the wind never blows to the Maximum NPR level of the turbine. Theory is not actual, as required performance. In Maine each generation facility (1 turbine) is suppose to be commissioned on that as one of criteria.

We are not only fighting the Wind sector but maybe also the Oil and Coal industries as they pony up to hedge there investment funds and suck up the Credits. Double Credits for Wind, being reaped by already subsidized fossil fuel sectors and double subsidized corporate farms.

Keeping unemployment up in key areas, keeps the communities looking for work and allowing Gift Funding with community support, long enough to get control of the lands. Will the Maine paper industry return, as soon as the Cheaper gas arrives, or as soon as all valuable wind space is under corporate control ? Maybe! A Tactic? It's been done before! With Maine sitting ENTIRELY within the zone of National Security, who knows, the feds may declare the state A national Security Industrialization zone.

This should be labelled financial games and mostly surrounding tax equity/carbon tax/externalities of which noise pollution is no longer counted, despite growing evidence of its acute health care cost (as opposed to future costs of 'climate change'/greenhouse gas emissions.

Where to fit it? My proposal is that this Halloween we make a concerted campaign against companies re-branding themselves. Here is a recent one. No longer should it be 'drinking kool-aid'. Who really even remembers that or twinkies?

No Walmart- they are crucifying indigenous Mexicans for PPA with one of the very best wind corridors in the Americas. The locals were rioting to preserve their way of life, but I have not followed recently.

Let's identify financial institutions benefiting from these deals. I know it would mean that I won't use my Citicard for the month of October. I doubt Bank of America is any better.

The Duke's, florida light & power/NextTerror, BP, etc. are all raking in the tax credits which I guess they need badly now. But it is the Nikes, IKEAs, etc. that Bloomberg identified along with the financial institutions/Big Data eg Google/Microsoft/Amazon etc. who were 'rebranding' that should be BOYCOTTED. 360.org calls for boycott on investments, why don't we use power of the purse that we actually have in our hands?

I can't give up some of it (Google scholar), but I think it is important to get the info out - whether it is pix, video or sound from Oakfield, and soon Bingham and No. nine Mtn - to the Google site that gives visuals. It is important to identify more on the parameters - distance; turbine dimensions casting those shadows across the entire pond. Visual impacts/vista impacts are not just in the "eye of the beholder". (excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
