New Scare Study! Beware . . . Peddling The Scam

Professor Daniel Rothman, another of the NWO "scientists", is putting the blame for "Mass Extinctions" purely on the back of the CARBON pollution we have brought on by our industrial modernization. He says that by 2100, in the lifetime of our grandchildren, we could see many mass extinctions and that they are already happening. What he neglects to throw into the equation is that most of the mass extinctions we have experienced in our own lifetime have NOT come from carbon pollution but from loss of habitat, poaching, and overuse of species for a growing population. As the population rises, more and more land is taken up by humans, more and more of those humans have a taste or lust for some endangered species like pangolins and elephant tusks, and carving out forests in Africa and South America for population centers for rising numbers of PEOPLE.

They state that the mass extinctions of the last 560 million years were brought about by huge super volcano eruptions and meteor impacts, releasing huge amounts of CO2 in a matter of seconds, and that is the cause. However, far more than the CO2 would be the almost complete blockage of the sun, and the almost immediate cooling of the atmosphere and surface of the Earth for possibly decades, killing all the food and freezing mammals, reptiles and insects and depriving them of food. Their new theory is right out of the warmist playbook. The increase in CO2 we are experiencing today and the slightly warmer trend, though it has not shown itself for the last twenty years, is actually GOOD for the plants and animals and is NOT causing MASS extinctions, at least right now. The whole scare about Polar Bears proved to be a complete LIE as their habitat barely changed, and they did very well through the periods in the past thousand years where the weather was much warmer and there long periods of open water in the Arctic.

These schools are part of the money grubbing problem, collecting from governments and NWO foundations huge amounts of money to "study" and produce scary research to further their agenda. If we spent that money finding better ways to protect ourselves FROM ourselves we would be far better off.

I cannot imagine that a meteor strike would release any CO2.

If you assume the meteor lands on land, already dubious as 70% of the planet surface is ocean, and also assume that it hits on forested land (to provide a source of carbon), what is there that would leave a chemical reaction at the lowest combination level?  With taht amount of energy release, presumably the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and iron elements would create more complex atomic bindings than simple CO2. Does anyone have any ideas on that?

Dependent on the size, the amount of dust material would be substantial.  The explosioin of Krakatoa, a volcano in the Subic Strait area of Indonesia, blew the top of the mountain off, which spread in a belt around the planet. A meteor ten miles wide - well, goodnight. Let's hope it hits in the ocean.

Perhaps we've figured out how to delay onset of the next ice age?

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
