First Wind Spinoff: NEW FILM DIVES INTO ISSUES, CONCERNS WITH DEEPWATER WIND’S PROPOSED WIND FARM
“After hearing the same old automated rebuttal, lacking fact and transparency, from Deepwater Wind’s representatives about real concerns from the East Hampton community, I felt it necessary to give those who oppose Deepwater’s method of operation a loud and clear opportunity to be heard, regarding environmental impact, industrializing our ocean, utility rate increases, wind power necessity, and the possible end, yet certainly danger to the local commercial fishing community and so much more,” Cullum said last week in an interview.
The resulting film in its entirety weighs in at slightly over an hour. Part one offers several perspectives from local concerned residents, including input from an energy consultant, an environmental planner, the former head of the Town of East Hampton’s Natural Resources division, an avid recreational fisherman who is also a Trustee, a former candidate for East Hampton Town Supervisor, and a former environmental liaison to a local citizens advisory committee.
Part two captures the voices of fishermen, both from Rhode Island where the first offshore wind mill was built in 2016, and from Montauk.

The naivate of the public continues to allow these wind lairs to exist.
Here is a mandatory requirement that must occur to reign in these consummate wind liars.
All meetings and hearings with the Wind Industry must be Adjudicatory in Nature.
Adjudication is the legal process by which an arbiter or judge reviews evidence and argumentation, including legal reasoning set forth by opposing parties or litigants to come to a decision which determines rights and obligations between the parties involved.
At such an adjudicatory hearing, the judge determines whether the facts as stated in the petition or warrant are true, and those present are penalized for lying

The 5 turbine Block Island Wind Farm began commercial operations in 2016. The construction of the turbines each rated at 6 megawatts each began in 2015.
Many questions remain unanswered:
The construction date of Deepwater in Rhode Island and sonic ocean mapping from Maryland to Maine of the ocean floor for electric submarine cables coincides with the increase of whales.
Researchers, policymakers, government officials, and industry members from across the United States and Canada gathered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in October 2017 for the annual meeting of the North Atlantic Right Whale Consortium (NARWC). They would not even consider the possibility of infra-sound from the wind turbines or map the ocean floor -- Scientist does receive grants from the state and the federal government.
Installing the 5 turbines there was an accident with the base of one of the turbines and one turbine had the narcel ( motor ) replaced because of a part left in the motor.
The electric cable going onshore ran into snags as it was not buried deep enough? Were permits not followed?
Block Island, aka New Shoreham, Rhode Island had its own power plant on the island that ran for years -- During the installation of the wind turbines cables to Block Island and to the mainland Rhode Island the power plant suffered a major fire in which many generators were destroyed.
Electric ratepayers on Block Island were told their electric rates would drop 40 percent prior to the construction of the 5 turbines. The rates did not drop.
The final total costs and cost overruns of the five wind turbine project including the ocean wind turbine cables have never been published.
Critics say the total tab will be more than $500 million, due to added costs, like laying the cable linking Block Island to the mainland. ( Including the underwater electric cable to New York)
