Donald Trump: "Windmills Are the Worst of All"

Mr. Trump begins discussing energy at about the 5:45 mark in this interview from last night. The part where he slams wind is at about the 6:40 mark.

The voices are mounting. This industry's days are numbered.

My 93 year old Father, who lives in California in one of the eastern counties that are conservative, now has a reason to stay alive for at least another four years.  His life outlook for the last year has been that if Hillary was elected, he would not care if he lived or died.  But now, the outlook is bright. So many of the burdensome rules and regulations from the last eight years were simply signed with a pen by executive order and can be undone with a new pen.   Unfortunately those turbines that are standing might end up withering in the wind, but at least no more of them will go up.  And our cooperation with the UN Climate Change should be one of the first things rescinded.  Cutting off RPC's and all subsidies will dry up the "investment class" and stop the madness.  The biggest cuts should come from UN IPCC payments for " phony research."

Nov 8, 2016 is an historic moment.

Thank you so much for sharing this video. I had not seen this......... if you want to hear truth and know what President Elect Trump  is about check it out ............ It is quite obvious, that Mr. Trump cannot be sold a bill of goods  and even in 2013, 3 years ago, he knew what wind turbines and solar are not ............ so much destruction by iwts has been done since then; so many of our natural resources have been destroyed and so much of our environment has been compromised ........... for what purpose and to whose benefit ............ "voices are mounting", but make certain he hears your voices.  He, very obviously, listens and, indeed, does hear.  This video/interview fOX/Trump 2013 was about "jobs" and unwittingly, it appears, he predicts his own "coming" ............. watch Gentleman Trump and enjoy.

Hi my east coast friends. I'd like to weigh in on jobs as a bit of diversion. The current annual number of jobs leaving the U.S. each year is now at the 2.5 million mark. Entire company operations are moved to China, India, Thailand or wherever labor is cheap and pollution laws nonexistent. These are positions lost forever and no longer available to Americans. In the late 70's a company called TATA heavily marketed large companies like banks and began selling them on outsourcing their "legacy" IT applications to be performed in India at $15/hr.  It's escalated to every manufacturing, assembly and everything else being performed elsewhere. It has to stop and there is no one at the executive level of government or congress doing a darned thing to stop it. Don't know about anyone else but our pockets have been picked clean.

Our government and companies are pushing for heavier fracking, more wind and solar in the most majestic places in our once beautiful country and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight of the permanent damage to our habitats by robber barons that have taken over Washington.

We've got a president who was honored with the Nobel Peace Prize and I can't think of another person less deserving of this honor than him. Look at Iraq, Afghanistan, our involvement with Syria and nose in everyone else's business but our own.

A mention on higher education. Have a relative who is a professor at Santa Clara Univ. in the heart of Silicon Valley - 90% of the students are foreign nationals and their education is paid for by American companies.  1. Indian 2. Asian 3. middle Eastern. Yet Americans can't afford higher education any longer.

Unless we change the course of our government who now appears to work only for the benefit of corporations, our country will continue to slide. I only see one hope and it's to begin aggressive recycling, remake and renew to starve out big oil, gas, coal and to begin an eco renaissance/ eco economy/eco capitalism. The battle of wind energy, money laundering and destruction of our land shows us all where we stand in the eyes of the government that should be serving us, not the other way around.

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
