Unfortunately, our government officials and subordinates of agencies are also incompetent of serving the public as they hold oath to do or as required by statute. So long as corporations have a seat in the halls of government and money is allowed as their voice, they will be more noticed and better listened to, as money can buy false loyalties (until the next hand is held out).

When spending money of others, it is easy to give away to the corrupt which recycle it back to those who would modify statute so that it is an easy path back and forth.

Enron was conceived with the intent of bilking investors and the consumer, and Sun Edison is built much on the same premise, a forced "You will like it" even though it may not be good "Yet".

We always seem to get pushed into buying the inferior products first, so that some will get reinvested to improve it to the end, eventually. Most is graft of course or unpaid investor returns going to deepen personal pockets, but in these two cases the weight of the cash comes from mislead consumers and investors along with worker investment by faith in their own corporation with their retirement plans also.

Laws are meant to control all bad situations, however with the elitists in control, the 1% of the 1% place themselves above and use the laws to manipulate, we the people, as they view us to be the corporate slaves.

After viewing some materials of Atlantica it is easy to see how they have divided up Maine, New England and New Brunswick forests for a controlled future forest management and harvest plan. Under their plan, we (Maine) are part of their Plantation, with Maine Workers the under paid almost slave labor force.

The republic is deteriorating and graft is at all time highs.

These VPs should have been fired, not rewarded for incompetency.

Wind graft is the worst or the lot. Laws indeed have become only for the little people, the others get away with murder.

Bankruptcy bonuses. Unbelievable, but not surprising.

Think of all the small communities that have hosted wind/solar projects that stopped receiving their pathetic little Community Benefits, err, I mean Damage Compensation, payments from Sun Edison. I guess they must feel like a bunch of chumps now!

Wind project damages are forever.
Wind developer promises, even contracts, are worthless.

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
