PETITION: NO WIND TURBINE in Mass Audubon Society's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

Dear Friends,

We know that it is odd to have to petition the leadership of a Wildlife Sanctuary not to erect a bat and bird killing wind turbine, but these are indeed strange times.

Please sign the online petition even if you have previously signed another petition opposing Mass Audubon Society's (MAS) proposed wind turbine proposal for Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary (WBWS).

It will take you only a minute or two and will really help.

PLEASE WIDELY DISTRIBUTE…

Scottish Wild Land Group SLAMS Wind Energy

I encourage you to read the following from Scottish Wild Land Group with authors from the John Muir Trusts. As you may know Scotland has aggressively built wind turbines in the open area…hopefully not in their wildlife sanctuary areas.

Wind Farms Gone Wild: Is the environmental damage justified?

Why are personnel of the John Muir Trusts “the UK's leading wild land conservation charity.…

Germany- Wind and Solar Energy Drive Electric Prices up 40% in 5 years!

SaveOurSeaShore Editor Note: This shows the cost  of wanton renewables investment both monetarily and CO2 wise. From the Wall Street Journal March 2, 2013 "Germany Debates Fracking as Energy Costs Rise", exposes the results of Germany's rush for misguided solar and wind renewable investments and its abandonment of low Carbon Nuclear Power and the resulting scramble for reliable and affordable low carbon non-renewable energy! After massive renewables investment...CO2 output went up…

Europe's Green Energy Suicide

If it's cheap and plentiful—even low in carbon-dioxide emissions—much of the continent wants no part of it.

I am asking for your help for Forest, WI

Dear Fellow Wind Fighters:

I am asking for your help.

We, in the town of Forest, St. Croix County,WI have been fighting against an industrial wind project for two years. The Highland Wind Farm--41 towers 497 foot tall 2.5 MW turbines (likely Nordex N100)--is on the map for our small township. We stopped the project on a local level about one year ago when we recalled the town board  based on open records that showed evidence of open meeting violations and possible…

AWEA Behind the Green Curtain of Wind Energy

Dear Editor,

The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) has deployed an army of paid lobbyists to capture the American government, much in the way King George III sent his hired Hessian troops in their crisp green uniforms, armed with long muskets, tipped with long sharp bayonets, and to kill the life out of the American independence movement.

Big Wind, disguised in “green-mindedness”, has been crushing anyone and everyone who happens to be in its way. Residents in towns and…

"The sun is giving us time to come up with smarter solutions for the Energiewende, (Energy Transition)"

Please read this, as it highlights the crazy approach being taken in an overreaction Global Warming hype from a environmentalist leader of the German Renewables Industry at RWE, a huge European power company! Germany is even further down the path of renewables. Will we learn their lessons?! Sadly he doesn't address harm to people and animals from the industrialization of the countryside.

My favor quote is

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
