    Monique,
Will there be tables to set up for the different projects in the State? I was wondering if a poster with info should be done in representation of Spruce Mountain and what is going on here? What will be the setting for the news conference? What can I do before I come? Do you want signs, chants, constructive disruption, or bodys to represent areas being invaded? Please get back to me as to what you need. Thanks, Leola

Howdy ma'am! I am very excited to finally be a part of an involved group of citizens. I have been looking for opportunity to get involved in politics for a while. I have been working on a few different essays and rebuttals to send in a package to my local rep to see if I can get some sort of internship to start to learn the ropes of legislation. I am going to continue writing editorials to newspapers, especially here on the coast. I am currently working on an editorial about the Offshore wind project being researched at UMO. The people (fishermen) in my own community haven't heard the other side of the story and their livelihood is at stake. Offshore wind will be the end of commercial fishermen. After the offshore wind editorial I will be writing about the smart grid which is simply a way to regulate and tax energy consumption. Between that and the new "black boxes" they will be putting on our boats and cars to tax carbon emissions, we won't have any freedom of choice anymore. If I write anything that supports the mission of the Citizens' Task Force on Wind Power I will be sure to update the site with it.

As for testifying to support your cause I would do it in a heartbeat. My phone number is 963-4189. I'm living at home with my father and I don't have a cell phone but you can call anytime. I will certainly invite my friends. I know a few engineers who also spread truth. I haven't explored all of this website yet but will become active as soon as I do. Thank you for your kindness and invitation.

Yes, it is crazy what they are doing up here to Spruce Mountain. We can see two of the wind towers from our dining room, about 1 mile away. These things are monstrous! It's ridiculous

    Monique,

My thanks for your encouraging words.  My chief source of information on Maine's Wind Power fantasia was J. Dwight.  The KJ/MS column your posted has more extended counterparts on the dailybulldog.com and themainewire.com.  The latter has prompted a response from a fellow who clearly suspects me of evil motives.

How did he discover that?  Are there no secrets any more?
